Jaizer
Benjamin basso, unbelievable. Was there even a gap?
Paulco
I'd happily pay double admission money just to watch Ben Basso ride a speedway bike round that track . The lad is amazing

Noelinho
Heat 9 was fantastic. Heat 12 was interesting because when Basso swapped to the inside, everyone followed him. Heat 15, he just refused to be beaten. That gap was tiny. I was on the entrance to turn three as usual and honestly, I can't find the words to describe up how good that was.
MD
A really decent meeting you would never work out from the scoreline. Basso was just superb but where was tonights Sedgmen last season. Fast, aggressive, making passes and riding intelligently to run wide in 15 to block Basso. We waited patiently all season for that to show up and got let down.
Noelinho
Sedgmen deserved at least one heat win. He was very good. In fact, all the Brummies were good outside of reserve. Cool and Wells were both decent value, but Sedgmen was unlucky to get done on the last turn twice by Basso. He didn’t really do much wrong. Basso was just out of this world. In heat 15 I think he just decided it was win it or bin it over the fence.

If he doesn’t gate he’ll follow the reserve that outgated him. Frustrating to watch and exciting to watch sometimes.

Weeyin
Racing was as Kelvin would say out of the top drawer, Birmingham put up a good fight, great to see Connor getting in the points and Ben Basso, what a racer, he has sussed the ashfield track well and defo worth the admission money and more, sincerely hope we can keep him next year, the guy is phenomenal and so exciting to watch.
SilentLurker
Ben Basso is an absolute animal on a speedway bike. I would be extremely disappointed if we do not get at least one more season of watching that every week. Truly mouthwatering stuff. Not sure what changed with JS tonight but he deserves a mention. If he continues to race like that I look forward to seeing him at Ashfield more often.

MD
The only downside to last night was Chris Holder being announced as the replacement for Vaclav Milik in the GP Qualifier in a couple of weeks. #FFS

Not sure what their problem with Chris Holder is?! Good to see him riding in UK again even if only for a couple of meetings. Hopefully he'll be riding more regularly over here next season. I'd imagine it might actually bring some fans up from the south coast too so all good with me
