Doubt it, can you name a better rider on a 2.00 ave?

Exactly and the rest of the team are going well so no reason to change, Ablitt is a young rider who scores points occasionally which is fine for us. To replace him would have to mean a double change which won't happen.

And tbh, we need him to get points away more than at Poole. He has done well at places like Scunthorpe, Edinburgh and Plymouth. All playoff teams (maybe Scunthorpe). And did well at Redcar in British U19s as well.

He has definitely shown promise and there is nobody better with his average in my opinion.

Gone off the Connor Coles idea then ;)

Yes another young rider doing ok but no real upgrade on Nathan Ablitt. If we had another rider out of form you could make a case for a double change but with Zach going to reserve soon i doubt many teams will fancy their chances.

really???  where do you get your information from?? Birmingham worked tirelessly to get riders to fill in for INJURED riders etc ... and those who rode for the Brummies gave it a great go and gave the fans some good racing to watch

And that's a fair old summary of the sport in the UK...

Getting "any" Speedway on is the over riding priority for the promoters...

The competitions themselves become an irrelevance given the way they get ran, so putting on some good racing to watch is key...

Riders got a chance to earn a fair few quid and it sounds like a good crowd enjoyed a good nights Speedway...

Which is ultimately what matters nowadays...

No major sponsor or mainstream TV channel would ever touch it with a barge pole given its.operstimg model obviously,, so it will never grow nationally...

But at a local level, at the right time of week and year, it definitely shows that a decent crowd can still be engaged enough to attend...

In fact. Maybe it is actually the way forward?

A home team v select teams each week full of track specialists to try and endure a good nights close racing...?

The fact it can and does happen now adhoc completely devalues any competition it happens in anyway, so make it "policy"...

Just sell the racing to the public on nights they want to attend...

With the lads that bring the entertainment getting rewarded with the most meetings....
