They used the "irr" for him in an away match recently when the rules were clearly broken, strange mr hunter very quiet about all this !

Him and MPT seem to have opened a can of worms on the subject.Don’t think they broke the interpretation of existing rule seems be the problem.

You'll need to help me out here. Roughly how long ago was this?

I'm struggling to think of which rider you're referring to.

Please give examples of this? You’ll struggle

And in regards the r/r for a full season nope you’ve made that up

What rule was broken? Current scb regs are pretty clear and the referee signed off on irr in the scunny match as such

Check this weeks star irr is for injurys during the meeting not from before !

That is a report of a CHANGE in the rule LAST week. Gmuncie is talking about something that happened before the 'reinterpretation' of the rule

That’s not what the scb regulations stated

wording

012.4.1 InjuredRiderReplacement(IRR)
Facility allows one certified injured rider (1-5 by MA) remaining programmed rides, including a ride in which he was unable to re-start but was not disqualified – FN. To be taken by other team members, including any guest riders, and subject to: -
a) The injured rider not having completed 3 rides in total
b) Only one position per team may be declared as IRR
c) All riders with an MA below the injured rider may take one IRR ride
each.
d) Reserve can have more than one IRR ride
e) IRR is not permitted in heat 15
f) A nomination once made cannot be changed

So no rule was broken

Fair play to Lawson there, man enough to kiss and make up

He was most apologetic at the end of the meeting - nice chap - I would have him as a Lion.

What a mess heat 8 was. How we contrived to lose that heat god knows.

One word - Weather.

The track was very slick but the dust was plentiful. Heat 8 came after a scarce watering which IMO led to wet patches and to both falls (no-ones fault). James made, maybe, his best gate ever and must’ve been gutted when the red lights came on..... the re-run was as per usual in that the rider who didn’t gate first time was out the traps like a greyhound

Loved my visit to Leicester again, lovely people

Totally agree re James. Tapes moved forst in IMHO, and I was the closest person in the stadium to him at the time.
