Did he save himself for Wolves? I would have thought riding Scunny would be easier than riding Wolves with an injury! Although I am sure I read somewhere that his foot/ankle was too swollen to have an xray..?

Correct, Sam wouldn’t of pulled out yesterday If it wasn’t bad. Has to much respect for the club to do that.

That's what I thought originally. Was surprised he was riding tonight! But maybe the lack of guest option for Wolves meant he wanted to give it a go? As if he pulled out be IRR anyway, so they wouldn't lose out?

Mmm debatable as I've seen many many times over the years & walked the raceway which has more loose chippings on it than a motorway escape lane& look at the times from Newcastle & the track was not good v Glasgow but none of the crashes happened near the rut coming out of turn 2
