gmuncie
Big match for both, a Monarchs win probably kills Oxfords hopes of finishing above them (assuming Newcastle have their matches expunged) Changes to both teams due to injury with Fredriksen and Sarjeant prob a week away for the Monarchs while Nicholls, Newman and MacDonald all miss out for the visitors. Monarchs Masters, r/r, Thomson, Castagna, Pickering, Hook, Complin Cheetahs Flint, Heeps, r/r, Summers, Batchelor, Ruml, Kileen Nicholls being out a big blow for the visitors but Newman missing strengthens them greatly with Heeps, Summers and Ruml taking the rides. For those unable to make it match can be live streamed here https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/emtv/live/ymNbbgGDU Edit - Leon Flint now in for Wells Edited June 24, 2022 by gmuncie
Mr Blobby
Tough one to call. Massive match and a must win for any chance of the play offs.

I agree, this really could go either way, Nichols a big miss but Oxford have riders who CAN go well there. Summers and Heeps both very capable at the dale. JanAndersen
Good win but can't help think that had Nicholls been there we likely wouldn't have come away with the points. A win is a win though. If we make the play-offs we won't be worrying the top teams however - too reliant on our top two. Paco or Kye need to come to the party more especially at home. Ht13 was an absolute joy. We can now safely talk about Josh Pickering in the same breath as Cook, Masters, Schott and Carr as the best home riders we've seen at Armadale. I remember watching him in his first press and practice and thinking he was going to kill himself - i needn't have worried. ps. never fail to be impressed by the quality of the streaming. Well done to all those involved in making it such a top notch production. Edited June 24, 2022 by JanAndersen
SlicktrackSandy
Indeed - second all of that. If Nicholls had have been fit he most likely would have added another 5 at least to Flints score, but he wasn't and they did well with what they had and deserved their point. As expected Dillon Ruml 's 13 really kept them in the hunt and does seem to enjoy this track. Apart from Sam and Josh, who are imperious just about everywhere, the backup has been frustratingly inconsistent for most of the season. if Monarchs do win through to the play-offs that would be a reasonable bonus for the 2022 campaign, as early on some on here were predicting a bottom 2 finish for the 5 times League Champions.. Let's go 3 good gates, 2 poor gates lol You ought to have seen the 4th bend line he took at Lynn last night to defeat Holder in heat 13!

Would he though? Can you honestly say that he would've had more than the 7 points Flint had after 3 rides, dropping points only to Sam and Josh, he may or may not have got a few in 13 & 15 but certainly not guaranteed the form Sam and Josh were in tonight! So certainly don't think you can say he would've got at least five more than Leon.

Flint only got beaten by Masters and Pickering and the form they were on tonight and that Nicholls is I’m currently I’m not sure he’d have bested them
