Leicester vs Berwick 05/06/22 CL

Recommended Posts

Let's get stuck into this one nice and early..

A double header again this season with the junior match following the seniors. This season though I understand that season ticket holders are being granted free admission to Cubs matches, so will the promotion be pegging the prices for this one for non season ticket holders?

And of course the usual question... can they run a double header in under 4 hours?

Very true but there was a couple of big accidents that night, Josh Pickering and Gregor Millar. But you do need everything to go your way, little or no reruns, fewer tractor racing, two seven man teams with no R/R etc.

29 Heats in 3 hours despite 2 big crashes that night.

Why is this fixture a double header every year though?

Because it involves only one off night meeting instead of two and for the away fans/management saves on travelling costs.

Well... as long as it's saving them money!

Also two clubs that have their regular racing night on a Saturday.

All of those 5 year olds looking for a night out without an adult will be thinking twice with this price structure.

£22 is less than the equivalent fixture last year isn't it?

£24/25 is typical, and I've seen as high as £28 for CL/NL dble headers at various tracks
