Decent passing from mason to boot. Overall thoroughly entertaining Noticed that Kyles times were pretty quick, heat 1 especially. Hopefully transfers that to the Bandits
bigeddiechek
Kyle super too…but Greg Blair! He was absolutely sensational. Dave Peet dropping him years ago (for I forgot whom) when he was on good form was complete travesty. The guy has massive talent, love to see him back in the league he belongs. bigeddiechek
4 out 15 FTG, you can’t pass at Berwick? That’s not what the stats say!
customhouseregular
Unless I am wrong, the Berwick track is pretty much the same length as the old West Ham track. The current NDL guys are clocking times pretty much on a par with BL top guys back in the 60’s. We thought they were fast so these youngsters must be pretty good. screm
As others have said probably one of the best meetings I have seen at Berwick in a while, full credit to all 13 riders for their entertainment. Started off with Kyle Bickley setting a new NDL track record in Ht1 but the star of the night was Greg Blair with some incredible over taking especially in Ht9 with a last to first, hopefully that race will be put onto social media later this week as it needs to be seen to be believed. Great night`s racing and those who decide to stay away and miss the Bullets matches need to get themselves there.

Involved in race of the night in Ht9 while leading for the most part.

To be fair, Dick said it right last night… Good track prep and riders with positive mindframes= Berwick being one of the best tracks in the country to watch speedway! I don’t know what’s been done differently on the track this year… but seriously, there hasn’t been one bad meeting this year! The Bullets sit quite proudly top of the league so far with us having set the pace for people to mark up to again! Let’s just make sure we get to the play offs first and then it’s game on! I thought Belle Vue would be the team to get us at home… how wrong I was!
crescent girl
Some weekend for speedway! Moans from Leicester about poor racing on a dodgy surface -- and l'll draw a veil over Newcastle's misfortunes.... Meanwhile, Berwick staged a near-perfect meeting. It CAN be done.....

Fromafar
Think the big positive regarding NDL racing at Shielfield,is the racing can be a couple of seconds slower with the young lads, which produces exciting races with more overtaking,it has been like that for a few season now ,that the Junior meetings have been more entertaining.Long may it continue. 3

The NSS is the same when I watch the Colts... A great racetrack as shown when the Aces ride but the NDL racing is often brilliant... As you say, just a couple of seconds slower, but not that you notice when watching... The NDL meetings (understandably), seem to have a slicker track too from the off which on the big wide circuits means riders using lots of different lines to try and find the grip to pass.. There doesnt seem the same "riding on rails" around the inside that can happen on the deeper tracks when the top riders ride, which often means strung out (very fast) races.. And obviously there is the capability level which means a few more mistakes, thus passing opportunities.. When Belle Vue charged a tenner in total for me and my then 16 year old lad, we went many times to the Colts and didnt go to watch the Aces as it was around £30.. Basically you got your "speedway entertainment fix" for around a third of the cost.. Real Value For Money the NDL.. 4
