You have to ride these kind of tracks to become a World Champion... It's garbage isn't it, I've just promised myself that I'm never going to tune in for another meeting at this track, ever, it's not speedway at all. I've watched about 5 meetings on tv/online this weekend and to end it with this just sours the taste, it's that bad it's annoying me. Granted, this isn’t one of them but Monmore is no better or worse than 90% of the tracks in the UK with a mixture of poor meetings, mostly mediocre and a sprinkling of excellent ones. The truth is the sport has moved on and the small technical tracks are no longer fit for purpose as it's all about building speed and momentum nowadays. Whether you like it or not. If you're going to have so few tracks in the flagship competition you really should make sure they provide the best entertainment.
