Job done. 18 points from reserve compared to Ipswich’s 2 the big difference tonight.

Not getting too excited though as we’ve caught both Ipswich and Peterborough when they’ve been missing riders.

But after the 2019 & 2021 seasons, it’s nice to feel positive about the Stars again.

Excellent from our reserves going by the updates.Looks like we carried Lawson and Pickering a bit tonight, but still got the win.

I'm like you Speedball not getting carried away atm, only with watching Pickering i am a bit.

Can't believe we have doubled our wins already from last season, that's a positive straight away.

Yep definitely no grounds for getting carried away as we haven't faced a full strength side yet but it's a hugely encouraging start. There is still the Iversen/Kildemand situation to be clarified and Wolves home & away next week could bring us back down to earth but this team looks rock solid from top to bottom.

James Shanes was an odd choice for guest, I assume for Starke when there were no other matches tonight.

Of Heeps goes how much do Witches have to play with? Klindt has left his PGE Ekstraliga club, joining Rybnik in a eWinner first division. So can join another none Polish team.

Just for him to be honest.....

But that’s not his job though is it? He’s giving an interview for a meeting preview that’s going up on the official website, it’s literally part of his job to put a positive spin on a poor situation. Surely nobody expects him to do anything else.

As said before. Good win for the Stars. Josh and Richard below par tonight. Richard hasn't really got going yet. but i'm confident he will. The reserves won it for us. Great to see Jack scoring well.

Heeps seems a problem for Ippo, on the plus side for them Riss and Batch are doing better than there starting average. I know it the cup and don't count to aves. But a 5.08 Riss has averaged 6.93 in the cup matches. And a 5.67 Batch ..... 6.62, 2 riders doing ok at the mo.

Funny how u mentioned Klindt coz I came on ere to suggest him as a perfect rider for Witches to bring in.

He's served both my local club Leicester & the team I support Poole with true professionalism & dedication :t:

Those two are doing okay,, but we started 2 points under limit,, so that sort of brings us back to par,,, so we need to improve a lot more to be serious contenders

Klindt has been mentioned a few times on here,, will only fit with a double change,,, which I would do.

Ipswich built to 36.90 so 2.10 under.

Heeps on 4.96 but last average for Klindt I could see is 7.56 from Poole in 2019.

Both those two always looked to have artificial low averages and they’re not the problem. Neither is Doyle obviously and Starke and Rowe are absolutely fine as reserves. At the start of the season I also thought Heeps was on an artificially low average that he’d put a point on, looks like I was badly wrong there. I’d love to see him click but it doesn’t look like happening. He looks way way off it and it’ll cost us unfortunately. Shame, as the team looks fine otherwise.

Yep. Down to Louis/ Hawkins. You have JD 8.96 and rising to 8.60 after tonight. He will at least  do his average. So thats 3 riders on the up.  King 7.76, his is rising after tonight to 6.52, He could struggle to match his when the league starts. I know the ave don't count, but it gives you an idea:t:

Heeps and Starke out

Klindt in

Then I think one from Thomson, Hume, Proctor or Wells might kit to ride at 6

The main issue is they let the best options join other clubs when building this side

Don't think losing Starke helps and replacing them with someone as poor as Heeps,, if you want Klindt we need to lose Heeps and Batch.  Yeah Batch is okay,, but will be up and down,, Klindt for Batch and someone like Barker for Heeps is then an improvement. Losing Starke for someone that don't score much is no improvement
