Ipswich v Lynn 28/4 LC

So Ipswich could've got a guest instead for Starke and used Danyon as the rising star, but again they take the cheap option and weaken the team even more. I know there is nothing riding on this meeting but they are taking the urine out of us fans.

And there will still be about 2000 there tonight letting it happen,, strangely I will be one of them,,, and I honestly couldn't give you one good reason why. Would have been a perfect opportunity to get someone like Gilkes to see what he can do at Foxhall

Can't see anything other than a KL win tonight.

Think Ipswich are in a much better position tonight than they were on Monday night. They have Riss and Heeps back so this is their normal 1-5,plus they have Shanes in for an out of form Rowe.So they are then missing Starke which will be a miss to the score chart you would think. But they are replacing him with Hume who many fans thought should have been given a chance instead of having a guest on Monday. So now he is being given his chance.

Ha ha,,, just out of interest,, when did you start becoming anti,,,,was it after you won the 500 :D,, as you used to help in the hut and all that.

Very happy when we signed Doyle and Riss but to build 2 points under the limit is unforgivable.
And before press day I said our season depends on cam   One chin and he will be excellent. Two chins he will be poor.
8 months to get himself fit and he obviously can’t be bothered and yet the management defend him yet again.

I agree but the 1-5 is too weak

Great to see Danyon get a chance although Starke would/could score more

Shame that Danyon couldn't replace Rowe and they got another guest in place at 6 but and here is where it confuses me

  1. It's a meaningless fixture
  2. The riders must show their worth
  3. Witches cannot lose at home to the Stars

so no.2 is right the riders must get going sooner rather than later and even though its in a no.1 meaningless fixture - its a must win meeting - as said by Richie

I think they might as well say "its a fixture that doesn't mean anything if we win, so it really doesn't matter if we win or not but its a must win because its a win against Kings Lynn but if we do win it doesn't matter anyway because we don;t progress in the cup but we must win"

Job done. 18 points from reserve compared to Ipswich’s 2 the big difference tonight.

Not getting too excited though as we’ve caught both Ipswich and Peterborough when they’ve been missing riders.

But after the 2019 & 2021 seasons, it’s nice to feel positive about the Stars again.
