Ipswich v Lynn 28/4 LC

Recommended Posts

Surprised Lynn aren't giving Mulford a run out tonight especially with Thomas in action  last night and tomorrow. Cam see a Witches win tonight with them determined to get off the mark and Lynn (hopefully) taking few risks.

I was a no,, but now a yes,,, want to see Pickering,, and also,, it's easier for me to give damning opinions on ipswich riders if I've seen it.  Hopefully the track may produce alot more than last week.

Good point that! Might have a look myself and see what all the fuss is about and see if he can do anything around our track.

I see Cam made his comeback at Oxford last night. A win in his first ride, a sign of some improvement? Nope, followed it up with two fat zero’s and was pulled from his 4th ride..

Don’t think any rider takes that kind of attitude I’m afraid. A 10 point haul in a meaningless fixture pays exactly the same as a 10 point haul in a play off final.

And a win where his biggest opposition had to start off 15

What's more worrying to me is the riders he was finishing behind,,some not even fancied good enough for an RS slot in this league.

Unless he comes up with something good tonight,, this should be his last meeting. If he isn't going to produce at home,, there is no point in him being in the team.  Yeah yeah I know I'm in the minority thinking that,, but I want my team to win trophies on a regular basis, and that includes this year.

Don’t think you are in the minority now to be honest. I’ve made no secret of the fact I’ve loved watching him at Foxhall over the years and was hoping this year he’d get back to that. But he was miles off it last year and worryingly he’s started this year exactly the same if not worse. Looks completely lost.

Problem for us is, if we can’t make changes we’re stuck with the 7 we have for a while. Just gotta hope 4th spot isn’t too far adrift by the time a change or 2 can be made.

Belle Vue Monday 6th June could see new faces depending on no rain offs. You’d hope that homework is already being done so that IF riders don’t step up their game, riders can be brought in quickly to replace them.

I think I am going but only because my daughter wants to go... otherwise I would of saved £20.00 stayed at home and watched the West Ham match

Witches will be on 34 points after Heat 14 straight after Kerr & Worral bang in a 1-5

Batch we know is hot and cold he only scored 6 last night, for Swindon he rode well with Doyle

I 1000000000000000000000000000000% disagree with Riss at No.2 and Heeps at No.3 if they are going to do something like that put Batch at No.2 and then Riss at No.3 Heeps at No.4

Wonder if Starke was fit they would have been tempted to put Starke at No.4 and put Danyon in at no.6 - is that even allowed?

Heading into the league action, I think perhaps one or two riders should be nervous if they don't show improvement, Heeps could score 3 or 4 points tonight but as long as he is on the back wheel of the guys ahead of him and showing improvement, I would say that is fine but would still think overall this team is not strong enough as a Septet

If its a complete thrashing then I think the manager also needs to think about his own future but I understand that won't even be discussed

Anyone going?

Yep, with my daughter and her friend. Looking forward to it - hopefully not near any moaning minnies :)

I don't think they'll be in attendance, unless of course they are still undecided and it's another poor performance?

I'll be fast asleep.

Heeps & Batchelor as a 3 & 4 partnership has disaster written all over it.

Riss doesn't need to be at 2.

Another easy KL win unless they use the meeting as a Challenge match just to try out different equipment / set ups.
