Glasgow Vs Edinburgh 01st May 6pm

Assume line ups be

Stripes: Cook, Nicol, ostergaard, basso, Brennan, Hume, bailey

Moanarchs: Masters, fredriksen, castagna, Thomson, Pickering, hook, sarj

Outwith the top 2 don't see great deal of danger but can never be too confident in the Derby. Lasse at least have knowledge of the track from GP qualifier last year.

I'll go for 53-37 to the good guys in red and white

Kye Thomson looked good last year and James should do OK provided the ref ignores his reputation and realises that he does occasionally make a fair start. Hopefully Ulrich has got his new engine and all goes well. If so 51-39 to the Tigers. Not so sure about Armadale.

A point from armadale would do me. Hopefully ulle doesn't have any issues first time back, basso was very good there for Poole. Second strings probably decide the outcome

Team will change for Tigers.  Broc Nicol to reserve, Danyon Hume goes up?

Not being negative at all. I’m posting my thoughts. As imo we aren’t strong enough to go there and get a result.

Maybe so , but the reverse psychology thing is what you do .

Glasgow should win this rather comfortably, don’t see where we’re going to get any heat advantages from.

3 possible heat advantages for Edinburgh, heats 13, 15 & a tac sub ride. Apart from that Glasgow would be much stronger than Edinburgh.

Says a lot when you think the best chance is beating Cookie at Ashfield. It happened more often last season but he's looking on good form so far this year.

You'll probably find most monarchs go as well if not better at ashfield than they do at home. It's absolutely no given tomorrow, the Aussies all shown a liking, lasse was very much on the pace using borrowed machinery at gp qualifier. I can't remember castagna, was "unavailable" for Birmingham last season and hook should find it easier to get grips on. Bit of weather around as well could make it bit of a lottery

If Glasgow don't get 60 then they are going to be disappointed, hope Monarchs up their game and make it competitive. Monarchs TM needs to pull his finger out too after a puzzling performance  more than the riders.
