Glasgow v Berwick CL 22/4/22 @19-30

Recommended Posts

Another Friday night to drool over greatness as the Tigers bring total speedway to their adoring fans .

This week's support act are Berwick Bandits , who themselves look a decent outfit this year . But how will they cope against the Championship's Galacticos ?

Well they have 4 ex Tigers in their ranks . 2011 title winner Theo Pijper , 2007 GP winner Chris Harris , last year's Tiger Ricky Wells and Kyle Bickley . Add to that Jye Etheridge , Leon Flint and Ty Proctor . Can they raise their game a few levels to stem the flow of home 5-1's , that's the task facing the Bandits to try and stay in the meeting as long as they can .

So its along to the Stadium of Speed for another couple of hours of pure entertainment on Friday

Last week was the test run for Glasgow but I’m sure we will provide much better opposition! I’d like to think we can keep it interesting… it was 13 & 15 we took a hammering in at Armadale.. o can see the same happening here.

50-40 I’d say!

First little test for the Glalacticos, should sneak a win. That’s if all the Bandits get there in one piece.Etheridge withdrawn at Wolves last night and still have Birmingham on Wed.!!

40 ??????? Seriously ? We cant allow that I'm afraid . We take our foot of the gas and let you get 40 , well it only encourages everyone else to think they have a chance at the Stadium of Speed when we all know that's just wishful thinking .

No you might be better than the dodgy Diamonds , but 34 is a more realistic outcome .

Glasgow have probably the best team on paper and have built right up to the points limit.

Think very few teams will get 40 at Glasgow. Don't think Berwick will be one of them unless one of their riders has an off night.

The only purpose it served was ruining Mr. Facenna’s wallet

No chance of Berwick getting a point imo, but will score more than Newcastle did!

Felton Flyers probably score more than Newcastle did lol I think Berwick are capable of getting a point

They get at least 1 from each heat.

Think be reliant on Harris (no doubt be much better than when he rode for us) Wells and Leon. Ty, Theo, Kyle and particularly jye not been great at ashfield of late. Although he wasn't helped by being brought in as guest for ulle against the enemy. Only takes one of them to have a good day and we'll have a battle

If Jye can stay on the bike.Ashfield is a very fair track if Bandits gate it will be interesting.
