Panthers v Stars 18/04/22 5pm

Wouldn't worry about today's result. Lot's of positives to take from today imo, To keep the meeting that close with our key team member being absent and our No.1 withdrawing from the meeting is some achievement against a full strength KL side.

Don't think that made a difference with IRR in operation!

Absolutely acknowledge that it would have been very different with Basso there and MPT uninjured but that win was thoroughly deserved and should have been by more really but for Iversen and then Worrall suffering gremlins in point scoring positions. Lynn were far sharper out of the gate as shown by eleven heat winners, have seen much better racing at the EoES but it got a bit better towards the end with some good tussles.

Such a shame for Lynn that Iversen isn’t going to hang around (as yet anyway). With him there, Lynn look a very good side. Strong top end with Iversen, Lawson and Pickering all potential double figure scorers, and a powerhouse reserve. That adds up to a very dangerous side. The fly in the ointment is obviously the Iversen/Kildermand situation.

Lynn deserved to win. panthers were missing the starts then in some races tripping over each other and making some silly desperate moves. Very poor performance and didn't see much team talking going on in the pits. On top of this track had no outside line until heat 13 and the delays were painful...as was one of the Refs decision. Also have the rules changed again? as based on last year's rules Iverson should have been excluded...either way Lynn still deserved the win as they wanted it more.

The Lynn win was throughly deserved and they were generally quicker out of the starts.

The track was prepared superslick again which suited Lynn that coupled with a bad crash for MPT, our best reserve missing the meeting and a referee whose decisions sometimes suggest she should have been retired years ago all came together to make for a perfect storm.

Hopefully normal service will be resumed shortly.

Another fine example of how not to run a Speedway meeting. Two and a half hours for 15 (well 16 thanks to Babs) races is not a great advert.

Well said Buster when he came on the mike.

Well done also to King’s Lynn who deserved to win.

Hope MPT is ok after a nasty fall.
