Col
Was going to make my way up the A38 for this, but as making that trek for the EIHL table topping decider between the Steelers & Belfast Giants at the weekend, so will leave my Owlerton visits until later in the season. Can the Ace's get 35? With two wins on the road at NSS & Monmore the Tigers have surely won this Northern section of the League Cup already. Dewswasking
Don’t give up on the Aces, I’ve followed the Tigers since the start of the British League in the 60’s. What you expect isn’t always what you get.

RS50
Heavy rain overnight in Sheffield, raining now, and more to come, per forecast.
Grachan
What is going on with these cancellations? Surely people are going to lose interest if meetings are "rained-off" like this. It seems a bit foolish to me.

I'm not in Sheffield, but the forecast seems ok. Just showers and sun in the afternoon with a dry evening.

But if there is photographic evidence of the track super wet, I'll happily hold my hands up. Edited April 7, 2022 by lisa-colette

Plenty of rain last night to do the damage. Raining now in Sheffield. The forecasts I have seen show more to come. I believe decision correct. I believe decision correct. Forecast show rain now until about 11. Then dry until 4pm. Then sunshine and showers until about 7. Then a dry evening. That would not have been a rain-off a few years back. I think these are financial decisions as they feel the crowd might be down.
Bagpuss
Probably the same as Lynn, people are far lesslikely to travel if its a damp evening, especially BV fans. Clubs obviously want to maximise gate receipts. Agree with Geachan though, it risks putting g people off.

Met office forecast, seems to indicate more rain. I am in Sheffield, and there was heavy rain last night, and would assume track already very wet.
