Does anyone know what the race format for this will be? I am not aware of any 6 team pairs race format? Perhaps the home team will field their 3rd and 4th in the averages also to make 7 teams? And then it would be like the SON format.

Sorry if this question has been asked already, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere if it has?

Many thanks :)

Go on the SCB WEBSITE  and download the 2022 rule book… all will be revealed

I think the fans will support it well enough.

My concern is more weather the riders will support it as I would think the pay will be based on BSPA pay scales & not the riders contract agreements. I will wait & see for the future rounds.

I assume each pair races the other pairs once?

Yes, as per the heat format published in the regulations. Red & Blue are 1&3, White & Yellow are 2&4, but each pair can decide in each race who will take their respective positions (as per published amendment).

On the Peterborough press release it says that neither of their RS are available. I know Dan Gilkes is injured, but how come Jordan Palin can't do it? As he was riding yesterday, unless he picked up an injury there? They have got Max Clegg as the RS for Monday instead.

Possibly not worth him travelling back from Europe for one ride to then head to Poland again for Tuesday's meeting

Weather forecast for P'Boro Monday is a little damp.

Peterborough are a track that cancels on forecasts, 50% chance of light rain from 6pm... at the moment
