Fair play to Batch .. see this is  what in missing in the sport these days the villian type rider ... Speedway is far to friendly these days . Riders in each team shaking hands and hanging around with each other in the pits etc . The sport needs the  nicki pedersens of this world more than ever

No the sport doesn't need Pedersens, just riders who show passion for their teams and share that passion with their supporters and opposite with away supporters haha

Perhaps not riders who ride quite like him but certainly riders who divide opinion and people like to boo. Ryan Fisher esque.

I didn't say it was an error, I said it was a masterstroke,-_-

I think everyone knows you thought Hawkins cocked up pre meeting by choosing Batch over King.

You mean a few more dirty riders!!! Noooooo way!!!  I'd rather the riders would nod or put their thumb up to the opposition fans when they've beaten home riders or something like that, I don't want to see dirty riding, oh god no :( Doesn't take much to get the fans going haha

Did Holder fall in this meeting?  For a wildcarded 'GP star' his score was low and I was wondering if he'll be at Foxhall on Thursday.  .

I'm surprised there hasn't been a book started giving odds on the various excuses , mind if Tobias isn't fit, he may be forced to ride ;)

Well i think most people would think King is better than Batchelor and he rides the Wolves track very well so it is debatable if Batchelor scored more than King would have although I appreciate I am biased!!

Not Witches fans though on current showings.  Batch did very well against Belle Vue last week, and has a better record in Ht15's than King.

Doyle is a given, you then go with the rider in form to partner him which at the moment is Batch. It was an obvious and sensible choice.

I'd rather have a rider show some spirit like that than not give one at all

Makes me laugh when fans expect riders just to take it but defend the fans right to give it out

I had David Norris throw a W hand signal at me after I suggested he needed stabilisers during the rider intro at Eastbourne (he had fallen 3 times in the previous fixture at Foxhall)

Far from being offended I applauded him for it!!

David Norris wasn't averse to throwing the odd gesture to us when he won a heat at Monmore (though he always seemed to do it out of the view of the referee!)

I remember Andy Smith throwing rear mudguard into crowd at monmore after one of his bail outs.

Between 98 and 2009 I regularly used to come home saying best meeting ever. Then the following week was even better. The standard of second strings and reserves was much higher then not forgetting more genuine number ones. Just showed last night the track can produce good racing with better riders
