Polish Extraleague play- off Final 2nd leg Sunday 25th September Live on TV

Gorzow will be happy with the 12 point lead.

They can easily hit 40 points at Lublin in the second leg. Michelsen is forcing himself to ride when he's really not fit at all, Drabik's form has fell off a cliff in the second half of the season.

He is to me and I think Dean( more  qualified than most of us)  has said he is probably the greatest rider of modern times ,just  incredible to watch and his ability to enter the corners at such speed is what makes him so special .

It's also his ability to not drift too wide because of the extra speed. Brilliant technique.

I'm not convinced it is over, Gorzow reserves will only get a 1 point at Lublin.  While I'm sure Zmarzlik will go almost unbeaten even he can only score 21 points. Wozniak & Vaculik both need to get double figures.

Drabik has had a poor season, certainly not the rider he was for some reason.

He did miss a season, it is only his first year back.
22nd in Ekstraliga averages with 1.738 (although he was much higher at the start of the year) when you compare him to his fellow Poles, that's higher than Smektala with whom he came through the ranks and Przedpełski & Przemysław Pawlicki who are a few years older.  Discounting Miśkowiak (reserve) the only Poles with a higher average are far more experienced riders except Kubera who has been #8 most of the year.
He has fallen significantly behind Lambert (9th on 2.144) who he beat for U21 titles.

It’s certainly a tough League, will he still be Lublin next season?

No idea.  The only thing I have heard is that Zmarzlik is leaving Gorzow for Lublin to replace Mikkel Michelsen.  Strange, you'd think having signed Zmarzlik it would be one of their senior Poles making way for him especially as Michelsen has been better than Hampel & Drabik.  I think there will be allot of changes this winter following that.  I hope the situation with ZZ (RR) available for Russians all year is different (obviously I hope Putins invasion is over).

How come both Zmarzlik and Vaculik can take RR for Anders Thomsen when both are higher in the averages than Thomsen?  Different RR rules or am I incorrect?

Would have got rid of Hampel.Don’t  know what the rules are regarding Polish speedway.(it’s certainly better than guests IMO)

Different RR (ZZ)rules and considerably tighter than other leagues- must be in top 3 of averages( injuries) and anyone can take a ride. The averages normally cover rounds 1 to 8 and then a new issue 9 to season end.

Unsure on ZZ assumed it was the same as RR!  But doesn't seem to be.  Guests are just a joke.
Of the top five, two must be Polish seniors and one must be U24.  The two reserves must be U21 Poles and the #8 (if named) has to be under U24.

One thing that does annoy me is the number 8 rule, Lublin this year and Wroclaw in the past plus some others doing it this year ,every rider named in the team should be made to have 2 rides at least, there is no need to have a number 8 and if you have to have one he should only be able to take R/R rides not just put him in when someone isn’t performing
