Polish Extraleague play- off Final 2nd leg Sunday 25th September Live on TV

Proof of the pudding is always in the eating so it will be interesting to see how the lucky loser pans out...

All meetings starting together will mean that it wont just be their direct opponents that they are technically riding against..

Could keep meetings closer when one team has "no chance" in the head to head, yet they could still be in with a chance of a semi final position, hence they wont "give up"...

So after all this talk of the playoff format the one really weird scenario I could see happen here is Gorzow go out and win big with let's say 12-14 points meanwhile Wroclaw keep it close and lose to czestochowa by 2 or even find a draw then Torun are through?

There is a path here where we could feel really sorry for this Wroclaw team

so what ?

They all know that a win is better than a draw and a draw is better than a loss. Each team has a fair chance to progress to the semi-finals. Just go for the win !

Oh absolutely, I just tried to figure out a way in which these rules would actually screw a team. Have to admit I really dislike this lucky looser format though. The benefit being of course that we get 3 meetings again today, hopings for some drama and good speedway

No doubt over the two legs that the Lions have wanted it much more..

Those 50/50 moments have all landed their way through hard riding and not backing off the throttle...

If Laguta comes back next year it would be interesting who goes..

I presume they would keep Dan in the main team, and would need four Poles so would Woffy have to go...?

Or could Dan do another year as an eight?

Incredibly close for the lucky loser...

Lublin can decide who goes through..

Torun will qualify as they won their home meeting.

Missed a trick there...

Should have just done it on aggregate...

Keep it interesting to the end..

Every race counts...
