If Complin is on a 4.00 ave, Newcastle have wasted any potential improvement on that figure by building a team nearly 3 points below the limit!

Might do but if Complin gets 6.00 we will have only lost a point. It is also how they ride the track not on paper.

Agreed. Two massive gambles on 4.00 averages. Whilst im not particularly convinced by Complins comeback he does have pedigree. Congreve on the other hand is a huge risk and a 6 point something rider in his place would make it a very different looking team.

Complin not a gamble on a 4.00 ave, more of a waste of using the 6+ available points for Newcastle's last rider! Congreve could certainly be a gamble!

He looked good enough to hold onto his average from what I saw of him at Leicester's recent practice day.

Birmingham to definitely make the play offs now! :D

While looks more competitive side than anyone predicted I don't see that tbh. Claus is a good guy but has had essentially 2 years out the sport don't see him maintaining his average as no.1. only need ask Scunthorpe fans opinion on Ellis last season in the championship and with auty, Shanes and Morris while will do well at home don't see picking up many points on the road

I disagree.

But time will tell.

Just hoping Plymouth can sort their team out.

5. Leicester

6. Oxford

7. Plymouth

8. Edinburgh

9. Scunthorpe

10. Newcastle

11. Birmingham

Berwick got there last signing badly wrong and i think will now drop out of the play off picture…

Birmingham, Newcastle and Scunny will be a fair way behind the others

I don’t get this whole “Berwick will drop out now cos of signing Proctor”… I really think we’ll be in the play offs… I believe Proctor will at least maintain if not slightly improve!
I’d hope they pair him with Bomber as he’s the one in the team I can see helping Proctor keep his cool!

We do have a decent Team on paper. At least the Promotion have make an attempt to give the supporters something different which I applaud them for. It’s just a case of wait and see what happens on the track.

I am confident Proctor will put 2pts onto his average. He has 1 bad season and all of a sudden he is a bad signing I expect Berwick if everyone stays fit to be in the playoffs.
