They’ve been completely ignored! We’re gonna have strength all season at reserve!

Of course Jye and Kyle are better than all 3 pairs of reserves I quoted and they most certainly have not been 'forgotten about' not by me anyway, but that's not the point I'm trying to make, I'm not deciding the strongest reserve partnership in the league because that is obviously Jye Etheridge and Kyle Bickley Or James Pearson and Stefan Nielsen at Birmingham (If this Pearson lad is as good as everyone says he is).

The point I was trying to make in my original post is who has the strongest reserves out of the teams likely to make the playoff finals ( which imo is) Leicester, Glasgow and Poole. And I think Leicester's reserves are just as good if not better than Glasgow and Poole. Because the poster I quoted said Leicester's reserves aren't strong enough to win the playoff finals... Which if they come up against Poole or Glasgow, they very well are.

Also, Newcastle do look very weak, I have as much faith in the lads as possible and I shall support them all the way through this season, but if we're being realistic on this predictions thread, I don't see them above the bottom 2 at all, if we don't finish bottom, I'll be happy (given the circumstances over the winter, I'm not being a miserable speedway fan :D)

I shall think about and post my league predictions once every team names all their riders

It's an interesting conversation as to who potentially has the strongest reserves. I personally think bailey and Hume will be a pretty strong and based on averages not far off the highest 6 and 7 (but then I would I suppose).

Agree Poole look weak, but probably only need 5/6 points a meeting from them. Berwick will be strong as be Theo or proctor drop down. Beyond that really all on a par imo. With RS system dropped only really Poole and maybe Newcastle have an out and out no.7 all the rest of reserves you'd fancy to have a spell in the main body at some time in the season.

It's not about who has the strongest reserves at the start of the season surely It's more about who ups there average the most and who is at reserve at the business end of the season.  Jye etheridge will not be at reserve for long imo.

Jye moves up and we will still have Pjiper or Proctor filling his place

I don't think Leicester's reserves are strong enough to win the final.

Edinburgh won the league in 2015 with Clegg & Branford at reserve all year. While string reserves are an advantage, teams can win without them.

Although I do think Leicester's reserves are decent enough.

Look at Monarchs top 5 that year, you could have been at reserve and they would have still won.:D:P

Sneddon was a very strong reserve though? Brilliant rider and fox wasnt half bad either on occasions

I thought Sneddon was past his best by then and retired soon after? I remember Fox being ordinary but perhaps my memory does him a disservice.
