DJWolves
Not obvious what the best riding order is. I think Becker and Worrall would make a good pairing at 3&4. The number 5 is key because they ride three times with the reserves. I would probably go for Morris with the possibility of changing that if Douglas improves as we hope he will. DJWolves
We are obliged to name a number 8 for the new season. No idea who would be a good choice for that

Joe Thompson surely? (other 17 year olds available include Nathan Ablitt, Harry McGurk, Archie Freeman, Sam Hagon)

It was rumoured to be NDL reserves/better MSDL riders from the draughts i knew of (basically think what riders will turn up midweek for free/very little) There's an obligation to name a number 8 but none to actually use them and i suspect plenty of matches with RR in use will take place without number 8's even present. I agree, as a team using their number 8 will be weakening themselves! But does make sense to have a no 8 when using r/r incase of injuries - but not use them unless you have to. There's no reason they can't swap riders around based on form / opposition / or if you have a track specialist, but very few managers change the order once picked! I fully agree but that still means the likes of Hume, Thompson, Mulford etc travelling to either home or away meetings, standing there all night and not taking a ride. Bit different when they were 2nd half riders but can't see many being so keen on that scenario now and certainly won't be doing it for free. Wolfsbane
As I understood it the reason the use of #8s withered on the vine was cost. Now they've reintroduced them. Strange.

Speedwayfan1990
Top 5 looks solid enough at home, cant see many away wins. Think the reserves will struggle home and away. Can see Wolves finishing bottom 2.

Well Flint rode well in most of the away matches last year and Kemp has ridden well at Monmore previously so you might be wrong there
Armchairfan
I think it would be great to see Woffy came back for the 22 season in the Wolves colours which would also help him with the GP season
Gasser90
Why is it taking so long for wolves to announce Morris and Becker ? Or do people think there’s more going on behind the scenes and 1 if not both of them aren’t in the team this season ?

Perhaps they are wrong and we could have him instead of Morris ? Not sure how the averages fit though.
