Nightmare signings

Recommended Posts

Is there one rider that if your club signed them you would consider no longer attending?

For example poor Baldyman is sweating on Doyle signing as a Witch

Give reasons if you wish but it can just be a gut feeling with no rational justification

Expand to a full nightmare 1-7 if you are a proper miserable bar steward like me :D

Craig Cook

Jason Crump

Jack Holder

Justin Sedgman

Chris Harris

Hans Andersen

Josh Bates (I needed a RS :D)

Doyle

Tungate

Sedgman

Harris at Foxhall only

Heeps

J Holder

And anyone that gives up after a couple of laps when at the back.

By the looks of it I have something against Aussies,, but I haven't,, honest.  While I'm talking of aussies,,, let's chuck Batchelor in there as well. Oh and third rate Poles that always seemed to find there way to Ipswich

I don't think I'd not go, prob just moan about them the whole meeting! lol . Especially when they are a no1 who has only got 2 points at home and they are still in H13 even though reserves were scoring better!

Obviously not from this season! Pre covid times.

Team of riders i would of absolutely hated Peterborough to sign

Dave Jessup, Kelvin Mullarkey, Andy Galvin, Andy Smith, Chris Louis, Nigel Crabtree, Robert Hollingworth

Took me ages to accept Eric Monaghan,

Why Jessup? I always thought he was quality when I was a wee child

In fairness that septet were all riders that had decent lengthy careers and the in the case of Jessup and Louis two riders close to being World champion!

Mullarkeys wind ups would have made the pope swear in all fairness while I suppose you've put Rob Hollingworth in there due to his long association with Panthers long lost old Derby rivals Boston!?

Monaghan rode for Peterborough when past his best at the end of his career when he was hanging on for a money spinning testimonial, but he was a good value NL heatleader during his spells at Mildenhall and Stoke!

We would go to Lynn on a sat night to watch some top lge racing and watch lynn lose and just never liked him was a smug little git who just irritated me with his laps of honour after winning a race so took a disliking to him, then he rode for Mildenhall which made it worse , was a good rider for sure very good gater.

Heaven forbid a rider does a lap of honour after winning a race! lol

We all have reasons for disliking certain riders,,,, I have disliked many over the years.
