Congratulations on signing Starke, Its about time Paul had a home Track a bit nearer to his home, recent home Tracks have included Ipswich, Glasgow, Kent, IOW and Newcastle none of them easy to get to from his home in Worcestershire or is it Herefordshire ?.

I believe he lives in Ledbury.

If so it's Herefordshire, the Boundary with Worcestershire is just over the other side of the Malvern Hills from the Worcester side.

Hopefully there won't be a reduction in crowds once the Summer trophy takes over from Championship fixtures?!

Where did this come from?

Was asked, saw some information that indicated it could have happened so asked the question. Obviously glad to see him riding tonight and hopefully next season as well, seems to finding a few lines around Oxford now.

An early finish to the season mid-August, only 4 and a half months of speedway, but very successful comeback with some big crowds and some good racing for the Ox. Great stadium.

Disappointing we don 't have one end of season open meeting (an individual or team challenge) as a farewell; I'm pretty confident there would be a decent turnout.

Still we should have 3 maybe 4 Chargers matches to keep us occupied.

Can remember when speedway was March to October, over 30 home meetings for Robins. Late August and September is normally decent weather for racing. What size attendances do the first and second teams get?

Pretty hard to say exactly (especially for the Chargers), but I'd guess the Cheetahs get 1,800-2,000 per meeting and the Chargers 500-800.
