I’m sure there will be another post ‘from the promotion’.........

Very good night it went really well... Good to young rob letting his short hair down & enjoying himself !! The only thing I didn't like it was card payment only at the bar !! Just aswell I carry my business card with me or i would have the only sober 1 on my table...

If you watched Swedish speedway ,you will be hoping the ship has sailed.:P

Haha no I haven't I take it he's been poor then? In fairness he is a very frustrating rider brilliant to watch at brough at times but also the complete opposite and pathetic some of his away performances.

But to be fair to any "second strings/reserve level" riders riding in Sweden, they race against the absolute best in the world, both alongside, and against..

A "bit" easier for that level of rider to score points over here I would think....

I've no idea what the sort of teams are like in Sweden so can't really comment. But like most things I guess it probably comes down to whether it's worth it.

Bit of a wildcard suggestion, but I wonder if Nico Covatti would fit as our number 3? Remember him guesting for us at home a few seasons ago and not only did he score points, he was highly entertaining and his style was like nothing else I've seen. Would be a brilliant signing imo if he's still racing... Just thought I'd bump the thread up a little bit with some discussion lol

If not, has anyone got any rumours or hints at our final signing? Cant wait to find out who it is... :)

Pointswise with George being on a 4 apparently, we would have just about 6pts (depends on the %age reduction applied to other riders) so the likes of Kyle Newman would fit. Had we gone with Archie on a 2 we could have had someone like Ritchie W. :(   Imagine heats 13 and 15 with a Ritchie and Bradley Dean our representatives.

The way the rumours are going about Richie agreeing to join this team then changing his mind I’m glad we didn’t.

I doubt Richie would have chosen us over Leicester anyway... I am happy with the team we've got so far, a nice 3rd heat leader or number 4 to team up with Starkey will do me... I calculate we have 6.51 left, but see no obvious signings near that average... The only riders I can think of are mid to high 5s, and it would be a shame to waste nearly a whole point... Kyle Newman is the obvious name that springs to mind, but he ain't as strong of a 3rd heat leader as I'd like us to sign...

I get the feeling that there's a lot of 'drama' going on behind closed doors up there... What a shame, I thought things were becoming more positive...
