Unless it's been binned, would the cut off between being able to use it and not be the age of it, or usage.? It would have done another 8 meetings or so this season if we'd have completed,  so could it not cope with a few next season instead ?

Possibly told it passed for this year but needs replacing for next if a license is required.

Guess that be first thing to be sorted by the new management committee then before any open meetings can take place? Fingers crossed something takes place in 2022

Brief mention in BSPL/SCB statement that they are continuing to work with Eastbourne to help the club back to tapes in 2023.

Positive news and hopefully more news from the club over the coming weeks

The BSPL and Chris Louis  in particular have been very helpful and understanding in what we are going to achieve at Eastbourne for the future, we are all working together to make sure the sport resumes at Arlington.

Ian Jordan has reappeared back on Facebook. Maybe the time he has had away from de-activating his account he and Carol have finally been able to sort out the refund process they started and were failing at terribly.

Also noted his company SP2A have had a few winners over the last few days with Ian being quoted as back tipping/working

" It's good to have Ian on board as a Tipster once again, especially at some of his favourite Courses like Cheltenham, and hopefully we will see a lot more of him in the coming weeks and months with tips and analysis"

Lets hope the riders will now get paid and anyone else he still owes refunds etc too.

Interesting read in King's Lynn news where Richard Lawson says he's owed nearly £8,000 by Eastbourne (if link doesn't work follow link from Speedway News Now)

You would not believe the issues Ian Jordan has caused the club let alone the debts he has racked up, he's cost the rders, sponsors and fans a lot of money and cost the club a year of track action along with giving the club a bad name..

Is Anything being done MD. What about Co Director Fineing is he able to get to the bottom of Ian's antics? No Administrators have been named yet?

Comedy Gold from Lawson if he expects fans to believe it costs him £500 to ride in a meeting.

Understandably I cant really comment on a public forum of such matters.

Who?

R Weston. He knew everything involved these last few years & defended them to the hilt, even the website with no fixtures & old averages. It seemed that only the news items were updated.

I think you mean Paul Watson?

If so Paul was the press officer and had no dealings with the management of the club itself, he has now retired from journalism.

Probably not an unrealistic figure but Lawson will be including engine wear and tear, clutch parts and then the cost of the 2/3 bikes he was running spread over the season. Thers a hefty amount of start up costs involved (rightly or wrongly).

Wasn't Kim Nilsson another of those owed money?

Im sure there was a list in the Speedway star around the time, sure Morley and Zach Waj were out of pocket a decent amount too. I know its tough to speak ill of those who can't defend themselves but Jon Cook had a fair hand in both of the clubs payment problems.
