This discussion is certainly interesting…..but I’m not sure you can reference Dickson vs Brown.
Neither of them were able to “manage” their teams to 2021 league championships.

That's coz u got us Poole Pirates in the Championship! :D

Neil Middleditch is the most successful manager ever! :t:

Genuine question.  Why did Dickson resign ? Was his position untenable as being part owner to going to former owner ?
I can imagine if you go from full control of team signings to then managing whoever the new owner has signed must be tough if you don’t agree with the team

Cause Stewart wasn’t a nodding dog to the new regime unlike big cammi

What’s the arguments against then? Since they’ve taken control they’ve won a pairs event and a KO Cup by my reckoning? No doubt they’ve achieved great things as a club getting bit meetings to Ashfield and creating a great supporter experience but the results on the track have been disappointing.

You are an Edinburgh fan; your expectation of how Glasgow have performed or not is of no interest or value to any Tigers fans and for that matter most speedway fans.

How about just bringing in one new rider?

Glasgow 2022?

Craig Cook 8.69
Ulrich Ostergaard 7.96
Tom Brennan 6.32
Sam Jensen 5.80
Broc Nicol 5.50
Connor Bailey 4.04
Ben Morley 3.67
Total 41.98

I think we can do btter than that.

I personally don't think that'll be a million miles away. Ben Morley, absolutely no thanks.

Good start with the team building in signing Connor Bailey. Wonder if they are going to announce the team in reverse order? If so Connor would be a strong no. 7 :t:

Agreed. The idea of having Morley at reserve would leave you a tad weak. That said, like we found with Keleher,  keep tabs on how riders are performing elsewhere and bring in a kick ass reserve, well eventually! :D

Sarjeant at reserve?

Tom Woolley? ok ok  :D
