What I'm saying is that a season riding a more technical track would bring him back a far more complete and consistent rider ready to be an out and out heat leader.

I'm not saying bin the guy, far from it, its for the long term benefit of the club and the rider

Downside is that he may well put 2 points on his average next season which is feasible why should another club benefit from that, I get your point but Sam has to be back.

No I get you, I'd think he'd maybe maintain current average and then when comes back puts 2 points on :D

I suppose the perfect solution is getting on the blower to wolves or Ipswich n get him set up there in premiership. 2 birds one stone n all that

He's 42? Wow, I didn't realise that. Seems very fit then.

Yeah or will be next season. Turned 41 this year I believe

Age is just a number so I'm told and he does look fit and lean, not obviously at the same level, but a lot younger than Greg Hancock when he retired from top line speedway.

Yeah I do understand your point Jaizer, you're saying loan him out next year, and yeah you could be right about stabilising next year, etc, its one of those personal judgement things, who do you bet on improving in the coming season, I just reckon his biggest improvement will be in 2022 season, and that's why I reckon better not to loan him out.  As you will know, Bowes was loaned out in 1994 season, but that was for a different reason as he was already on a 9 point ave and couldn't be fitted in and returned to Glasgow in 1995 season.  On this one I just reckon Jensen will improve a fair bit on his current average and that's why I reckon he should be first on the teamsheet.  On top of that he's an out and out racer, can overtake almost anybody, he's more like a heat leader at times, so first on the teamsheet and maybe written in bold as well then.  :D

Haha aye I get you, he's a racer and an entertainer that you'd pay to watch, much like bowesy :D.

I think after a season settling back in that there's a 7.5 rider in broc Nicol waiting to come out. I wouldn't be unhappy if both stayed.

1994 didn't feel the same to me winning without Shane, didn't feel quite right

Any truth in the rumours that Glasgow may go Premier for 2022?

Did those rumours start when Glasgow said they not ruling it out? I guess a lot could depend on how much they feel they need/want to be in the same league as Edinburgh. And if there are still protected race nights and if they feel happy to ride on a Monday/Thursday.

Can't see it. Closest home match is Manchester, most matches further south.

And as a spectacle it doesn't excite me being in premiership.

Only way happen if some kind of concessions/ financial rewards for doing so. In the past always said it was unlikely

The championship clubs face a few years now under the dictatorship of one team , the premiership has teams that all reside as equal and treat each other as such

If it's the team I believe of which you speak aren't they rumoured to be going back up too?

Hope not you keep them .

Lol,  I think you are being a bit naive. Most Prem promoters group up together to get certain rules though, definitely not equal with or without Poole. A lot of rules Poole wanted never got through. Although getting no2 in the team on inside gates in H1 was Zorro's idea. I'm sure CVS misses Poole being in the Prem, him and Matt seemed to share similar views and had a good friendship together imo.

No mention of Nowak here….you guys not liking him?

Love him..his polish team ride on a Friday night so pretty much 0 chance he'll can ride until this time next season. Unlike another team who think it'll be ok to sign a rider who'll miss most your home meetings :D
