Diamonds85
Rather than Poole, if the powers that be insisted on no byes in the competition therefore 8 teams were needed, they should have contacted a Danish or Polish or German team etc to see if they wanted to come and do a one off meeting over here. A Landshut select side with the likes of Huckenbeck, Smolinski, Grobauer. Or perhaps an Aussie select side with a bunch of Australian riders who don't ride in the PL. A bit of outside the box thinking. It would have made it more interesting for everyone else who isn't a poole fan.

I'm intrigued to know the names of the 7 Australian Premiership standard riders not currently racing in the Premiership, as is every promoter..!? 😅

Why would it take so long for Poole to confirm their involvement in the KOC? Doesn't strike me as something befitting a "professional" sport! Maybe due to some offtrack commitments early season? Imo its more to do with the dates rather than the team line-up!!!?

Maybe a Jubilee Trophy double header?

If the strengthened-up Pirates finally accept the surprise invitation to the Prem Cup and manage to beat Sheffield then they will be up against Brum or Leicester in the S/F so suitable guests/ assets shouldn't be an issue eg Cook, Brennan, Kurtz, Holders etc........🫠
