In readiness for the Poole track shop opening tomorrow (9am to 4pm) its great to see promotional photos of the newly stocked merchandise on the club website featuring Danny King and Steve Worrall!!;)

Isn’t that an old picture of Steve from earlier in the season? Deffo new one for Danny though, clearly been in town to make a video for his announcement maybe!

It’s obvious Steve and Danny are signed. We can work out 5 riders easily enough.

Question. Where is Ryan Douglas riding in the Championship?

Definitely Scunthorpe, although going with Ryan would have given us an extra point at the bottom of the team at number 7.

Interesting comments from Ford about Frday nights, in trying to lure Basso the Glaswegian.

To everyone else Friday nights are off limits as 4 existing CL Clubs have priority over that night and it was instrumental in causing decline of lakeside in 2018 when Godfrey cancelled fixtures at will, and also Plymouth were told quite clearly Friday nights could not be used in CL.

Yet here's Mr Ford apparently looking to use it as a regular option.

I guess it's the golden rule in operation again, one rule for you all but another for Management Committee Clubs.

Will they ever learn??..

Where have you seen this? I haven't seen anything about us riding Friday's in the local media.

Danny mentioned it as a possibility (which he claimed Ben was aware of?) to avoid some of Basso's Danish commitments in the Speedway Star this week!! The forthcoming interview with Benjamin should make for interesting reading...........

yes gasso that would have been a stronger team than the team being forecast now,see why fords were bit rattled! might be just me but i cannot remember ben basso ever saying  last season that he could return in 2022 or indeed wanted to,again maybe just me but i always assumed he wouldnt be back(regretably)and the ford statement was a bit of a shock!im happy with any racenight but i thought changing race nights albeit occasionally was contrary to the stance taken in recent seasons.however still sure well be competitive

At the press conference after the playoff final apparently they all said they wanted to come back apart from Rory (obviously!!), this is according to a few other Poole fans, maybe a fan who attended it can confirm what Basso said.

Lol……I think I’ve heard most riders say in their after season speeches that they’d like to return the following year….
