You Poole supporters talking about Steve Worrall signing for Leicester? That's confusing, not to mention strange. Are you keen to offload him or something?

Would love him to stay at Poole, all down to averages unfortunately

Lol. You do realise this happens on every teams thread. Riders get rumoured to be going somewhere else. Personally I didn't mention Steve Worrall, all I said was there was a rider being announced and plus it isn't down to fans who stays and who goes! Rumours get talked about all the time, I guess you better get used to it! Maybe Pirates Of Poole heard he was signing for Leicester IDK.

Hemsley avin a dabble at cycle speedway

I'm subscribed to Martyn Hepworth's youtube channel & he as just added this video.

And that may explain the initial shape of Leicester's track. LoL

Despite Sam ermolenko marking out a proper racetrack I believe DH copied the cycle speedway track he won his world championship on.
and the rest is history

Not quite. Scaled it based on Leicester cycle speedway. DH won world championships on 3 different tracks.
Worth noting the Lions circuit has been significantly altered since then hence the much improved racing now seen at Beaumont Park

Seeing that Frisky Racing is posting on different Lions Facebook groups, offering the opportunity of having your name on Dan & Joe's race suit for £20, I'm guessing that it would be safe to pre empt an announcement that Joe will join Dan in the team for 2022. Maybe they should have waited for an official announcement?

Can't wait for the day when the Twins race for different teams. Not doing Lions any favours being in the same Championship team.

I think the best thing Joe can do is to change his surname... Like Mikael Karlsson, maybe it would stop all of the inevitable comparisons. People don't seem to be able to talk about Dan without mentioning Joe in the same post (I've just done it myself!).

I thought Dan had a solid season, progressing from reserve to become a solid No 2 at home and should only get better in his 2nd season.

Joe, a solid reserve and again should only improve in his 2nd season.

From the outside I think Dan seems like the better of the two? However I have only seen them race once... Who would Lion's fans say is the best rider currently? I know it'll probably be a hard choice to make

Dan is undoubtedly the best rider at the moment, but rider's progress at different rates especially when you throw injuries into the mix. Look at the Worrall's respective careers, when they first started I thought Richie was going to be the good one, but then Steve kicked on to become an almost international class rider, broke his leg, struggled to come back and now I'd say they're pretty level again.

Hindsight…….what a wonderful gift as they say!

Not hindsight, was blindingly obvious from the start of the season that Lions were weaker using both Twins. I only show interest in the Twins coz Leicester is my local track & to release Mountain and then also not to use Humey was a big oversight by Dickson.

Anyways, Humey was wisely chosen by us Pirates to help win the double.

Blindingly obvious my a*se! When a team is assembled at the start of a season, it is with a view that riders will either up their existing average or at least maintain the one that they are on. If Bates and Proctor had delivered on the latter (as we know this went t*ts up), both twins would have remained at reserve. The twins had never raced at this level previously but finished with a combined average uplift of almost 4 points.
