Bowes (went from 6 to 8.5), Lyons (went from 5.80 to nearly 8), Mick Powell (went from 5.7 to 7.4). Edited November 4, 2021 by GS550
Mike0310
I for one have been critical of Poole sometimes this season but I would just like to say well done you totally deserve your success good job.but like us with pedersen and yourselves with Rory selfishly you think why are you retiring your still so good but they are and I would like to say to Rory good luck with your racing retirement you have been a great asset to British speedway and I wish you all the luck for the future and I’m glad you went out on a high.right now let’s look forward to next year and who can knock those pirates of top spot lol . Should be first on the team sheet as far as I'm concerned. And an out and out racer to boot. In the mould of Bowes. Agree with you I would have Sam in a heartbeat boy is box office when he is on it, just a slight niggle about him upping it next season. But if he returns I would be happy with that.

I admire your optimism but a guy whose scored 0 in his last 2 away meetings is not going to have a near 8 point average next season.

Far more to it than that. Way more to it than that. The boy has shown he's got it. Very very very few riders can overtake good riders with ease like he does. He will become more consistent and improve and that's where the increase in his average will come from. I told the same to those that thought Bowes was a liability on his 6 point average and you're saying the same things as folk did then of Bowes and they all ate their words. It's imho not so much a case of IF he will increase his average next season, more about by how much. By waiting all you'd be doing is handing that increase to another team and then be saddled with a high average on his return. Crazy.

I've told you it, no need to be rude about it. I have been willing to accept I'm wrong, you're attitude that you can't possibly wrong I'm sorry it's quite frankly outrageous 1 1
cyclone
From reading the comments on here from Glasgow fans, surprised that it appears none of them have expressed a wish to retain Craig Cook as their number one for 2022

No brainer for me that he comes back personally

If he isn’t number one and stays you are going top heavy . Saying that Tom should put 2 or 3 points onto his average.
