marcin can ride as it’s the lower polish league but they ride on a friday so would rule him out until maybe  the same time next year

His team a actually race in the middle division of three, League1. While the top Ekstraliga mainly races on Fridays and Sundays Leagues 1 and 2 use any of Friday to Sunday. Friday is probably the least used of the three for his team Lodz. Other matters are more likely to get in the way.

Going to come down for this , there are 4 of us in the car , where’s the most convenient hotel within walking distance to the track that’s not overly priced , need a couple of twin rooms , thanks in advance x

Before moving down here we usually stayed at The Antelope, just off the Quay. About a 15 minute walk to the stadium, around £100 per room

  • Thanks 1

Can't help thinking should've just held 1st leg today looking at the sun out my window n just had heeps at reserve for Marcin. Don't see any breaks in the weather after today for it to be held

Would’ve made perfect sense when Pirates were up here anyway and a weekend trip for the fans

If we must have the playoffs (and it seems that we must), then surely the team finishing top of the table should be seeded directly to the final?

That should be ideal, but always remember the first ever one Eastbourne vs Wolves, we were by far the best all season, qualified for the final and didn't ride for at least 2 weeks, Wolves came in race ready, we were slightly rusty and didn't quite fire like we did all season and lost it.

Forecast for Poole looks okay for Wednesday... but not currently okay for Friday.  It would make a great deal of sense to switch over the two meetings at Poole, as the second leg of the cup is a "dead rubber" (Pirates can't lose from a 5-point advantage, given Edinburgh are a poor away team) and if that got rained off on Friday, it wouldn't be as potentially problematic, given the poor weather scheduled also for next Saturday and Sunday.  Get the play-off final in Wednesday while it's possible.

Edinburgh have a mountain to climb in cup but we have not been a poor away team.

One of the worst away teams I saw at Scunthorpe this year. Gave in without a fight. The likes of Berwick, Birmingham, Redcar, Glasgow and Eastbourne all put up a much better fight.  Edinburgh were only better than Kent and Newcastle.

The cup is already decided. Better to get in the play-off final while the weather looks alright.

As a neutral observer I feel reserves may hold the key to the play offs. Basso is some rider to have at reserve. Novak and his clashes are going to be interesting.

Think Glasgow’s strength in-depth is blighted by inconsistency, for me Jensen needs to be more consistent,Poole certainly have the advantage in heat leader strength and Basso looks a prospect.

Been saying they should swap them for about a week now! Playoffs should always come before KOC. Time for forecast for Friday to change yet.
