Can't imagine why anyone would buy a season ticket for speedway. Generally, they are poor value. Go on holiday and you 'free' week evaporates. Also, you lose the flexibility of not going if it is cold/wet/too hot/showing or if you don't feel well, or are isolating.

And severely impacts you dong any "specials" during the season to try and drum up some extra custom...

What I would do is raffle off say ten tickets over the first ten matches, one per match....

I would suggest you would get circa £10k for those tickets at just a £ a pop rather than around the £3k or so you would get ordinarily..

And missing the odd meeting wouldnt matter if you hadn't spent loads on the ticket..

Certainly looks that way.

For me I would go with a team of

Heatleaders

Jack Holder

Adam Ellis

Tobiasz Musielak

Holder and Ellis would form a formidable top 2, and Musielak I think would push up his average to around 8 points or just below.

2nd Strings

Erik Riss

Kyle Howarth

Riss had a poor season and his average dipped, but I think a change of track will do him good and I think that he is more than capable of upping his average between  6.00 to 6.30.

Impossible to think of Sheffield without Kyle, so I think that the club will go with him

Reserve and Rising Star

Jake Allen Reserve

Connor Mountain or Danyon Hulme

Jake Allen at reserve would give us that strong reserve that we lacked last season, also if or when his scores improve and if has to move up into the main body of the team, Kyle or Erik would move to reserve.

Meaning we always have a strong reserve.

The Rising Star I would take either of those two, I think that both can do a job, but I think that I would lean toward Connor, but would not be disappointed if Danyon got the spot.

So my Sheffield line up would be.

(1) Jack Holder

(2) Erik Riss

(3) Kyle Howarth

(4) Tobiasz Musielak

(5) Adam Ellis

(6) Jake Allen

(Rising Star) Connor Mountain or Danyon Hulme

It's called opinions and people are allowed them about all teams not just their own

This is a forum not a propaganda leaflet.....

I'm sure Danyon Hume is too old to be a rising star in 2022

Not by other fans mainly by a Sheffield fan if you are talking about the debate about Ellis from what I have seen.

I didn’t think there was any age limit on the R/S ?

The rules seemed to be based around Josh Bates fitting in:

Under 25, or less than 3 seasons experience

Prem ave below 5.50 (Bates was 5.20) Champ ave below 6.50 (Bates was 6.35)

Riders like Luke Crang, Greg Blair & Tom Bacon qualified to due experience not age.

Bates, Hume & Bowtell all turn 25 before next season starts.

Of course the rules could've been changed without telling the fans?
