But could improve his average by virtue of riding at reserve. I'd say a 4.00 rider who will keep that average is more valuable to the team than Ace who may up his average from 2.00 - 2.50. If they can build a strong top end that needs a 2.00 rider then Stoneman or Pijper are obvious candidates.
