Thank you :) Very strong top 2 pairing. So that sounds like Jye will go to 3 or 4 when he moves up.

IF he moves up… Although you can’t judge too well on their own, Ty wasn’t hanging around! Theo seemed to have bike issues but last night was the night to have them!
Ricky was like lightning from the gate.. Leon looked so so classy.. what a style entering bends 3&4 (ala Ricky Ashworth to help you imagine).
I left happy with what I seen :approve:

Reminiscent {Similar } to the 2014 team that made the playoffs with a strong number 6 always available. 2014 we had Steen Jensen, Matej Kus & Matty Wethers occupying that position. This year we have Jye if he moves up could be Theo or Ty keeping Kyle company

Mixed night for the guys last night,Jye got 4+1,Leon 7+2, Bomber 4+3 retirements, hopefully have his bike issues sorted by the weekend.

On his social media that he realises what the problem was for him :approve:

He can have those sorts of meetings for other teams… save the decent scoring for us

Three Berwick riders have meetings today, Kyle Bickley takes part in the Under-21 semi final at Mildenhall, Ricky Wells comes into the Newcastle team as a guest in place of the injured Bradley Wilson Dean, while Leon Flint is in Germany taking part in the MSV Herxheim European Open.

Good luck to all.

You can also add to the above list that Chris Harris races for his French team Morzise in their meeting with Marmande.

Surprised Kyle Bickley wasn't seeded

Read somewhere on social media that Theo may have picked up a collarbone injury in a grass track meeting yesterday.. any confirmation?

Anybody have any suggestions for a nice place to stay after a meeting? Will be coming up for the Berwick/Oxford meeting then onto Newcastle the following day.

Thanks in advance :)

It depends what you’re looking for, if you want to be in town there are a few good B&B places in Berwick plus Premier Inn. A few miles south or north on the coast quite a few B&B and hotels in good locations like Bamburgh , Seahouses Amble, Beadnell,  Craster and Boulder and Warkworth to the South and St.Abbs and Eyemouth and Coldingham to the North. You’re likely to find they’re not as good value these days due to covid and staycation, and some have been charging ripoff prices in the summer months.. good luck and have a good weekend trip.
