For anyone interested ive knocked together a list of riders and their commitments for 2022

Covers gb, denmark, poland and sweden

Might just give people a bit of insigght as to whom belle vue could pick up at reserve and as the second second string as well as that all important third heat leader

Click the photo links (note could be a couple of errors or omissions

Note the numbering next to riders with polish commitments donates what tier of polish racing they have a team spot in

Thank you for that. Makes very interesting reading!

Anyone in the know with belle vue know when we can expect An announcement? Not that it matters as the season is a few months away yet I’m just a bit impatient

I've known fans being impatient about their own team news (me included!) but not other teams announcements or lack of before! I'm not very sympathetic to teams who have already made announcements though :(

Committing to a full season is an issue.

He should get a decent lowering of his average too, as he hasnt ridden in the UK for a few years...

With the GB reduction maybe he would be on something like 4.5?...

Worth a punt on that in my humble opinion....

:D

He's coming in for Belle Vue... Not Poole, Glasgow or Scunthorpe... His average will have doubled since he last rode here

So I’ve heard it’s likely gonna be Tai.

I’m not sure how I feel about that tbh.

Why would tai ride in British speedway for belle vue given his strong bond with wolves and Peter Adams who has said he continues to work closely with tai for the GP’s, if tai was going to ride in England surely it’s wolves or no one ?

Not the case. He has apparently approached BV.

With only 6 clubs I'm not sure why they didnt look at adopting a squad system in addition to the number 8

So the number 8 comes in if one of two reserves are injured, if both are injured then one guest.

A number 9 to act as cover to riding positions 2,3,4 & 5

A number 10 who acts as cover to the no.1 rider

Could/Would this be more attractive to some riders over here?

Masters/Lindgren at Wolves

Fricke/Tai at BV

Holder/Pedersen at Sheffield

Doyle/Vaculik at Ipswich

Pickering/Lambert at Lynn

Palm-Toft/Bjerre at Peterborough

Obviously a non start unless polish restrictions were to be removed

Running a Squad is expensive, riders won't sit around for nothing

Depends what the set up is

Not everything can run like Poland with signing on money etc.

If it's just a case for having the "opportunity" to get some extra track time it can be agreed that they get paid when they race, like 99% of all riders in British Speedway

If Tai is not riding in Sweden, he can ride in GB.

Living at home in gb and commuting to Poland and the gps would probably be favourable to basing in Poland as he has in the past.

He’s not based in the UK currently is my understanding.

I’m not sure how he would only do home meetings tho, so something has changed for him to be approaching us again.
