That's going to be the same answer as before, isn't it?  And no-one has made anything up.  This was a re-scheduled meeting where the original programme was used. Scunthorpe had to make a change to that original line-up and the Scunthorpe team manager clarified that change to the referee before the meeting started.

To be honest, this is now going around in circles. A full explanation has been provided. You can read it, and either realise it's a reasonable explanation or continue looking for some weird conspiracy theory which just isn't there.  It's up to you if you want to carry on, but I'm not.

One final comment then- Are  the Scunthorpe promotion denying a press release was issued late on Friday(8th) naming Ellis as ill and RR was being used to cover his absence ??

So sometimes the truth is distorted for commercial reasons. And clearly was in this instance. For the overall purpose of preventing some, number unknown and unspecified, from deciding not to attend. Big deal, if anyone is shocked by this, they're not living in the real world!

Looks like Hans is riding tonight as he is named in the team line up detailed in the Lions preview for tonight's meeting.

On Twitter a few hours ago they said they are without him due to him having a 9 day concussion rest

Can’t expect them to have it on there when it hadn’t even happened at the time of posting !

It's 2021, it's not a newspaper, they could easily have altered it... They were quick enough to change the website when Godfreygate blew up

If its rained off tonight some thinking outside the box will be required.

How about Poole running a double header tomorrow against Lions and Scorpions? If Leicester score more points than Scorpions  Lion's ride Poole at home on Saturday. If Scorpions score more points than Lions then they host Poole on Friday. Simples!

Is it raining at the track now?

Stopped near me around 20 mins ago... some big puddles around. Under normal circumstances I suspect this would have been off... they're probably down pets r us buying up bags of sawdust right now
