He didn’t. It was known that he was riding in France.

you need to direct your anger elsewhere

To be fair JTS I dont think there is too much 'anger' on here towards either Adam or the UK Promoters..

It's more resigned Mickey taking due to the fact that such things happen so regularly..

Riders clearly can't be in two places at once so the authorities should just explain why one is missing...

And if any riders feels he has got misrepresented by that explanation then he should speak up with the real reason...

That "let's make something up" culture has existed for far too long across the whole operating model, and unfortunately in todays 24/7 social media world, any clear evidence which clearly contradicts what is said is quickly put out to the world for all to see..

As you yourself have said several times..

The UK promoters cant even get a sponsor for their leagues after so many years of TV coverage..

No real surprise why that situation exists is there?

Another piss take , this time from possibly Britains worst ever national champion.

Lob the book at him and give him a 10 meeting ban.

You really are as thick as a brick and clearly haven’t read the last few pages have you ?

Mais rappelez-vous, M. Potato, quand un fan de speedway laisse-t-il des faits entraver son argumentation ? Toutes mes excuses pour les pauvres français.

After ready pages and pages of vitriol the only thing I’ll say is that Adam presented his racing schedule (as all riders do) before he signed.

Before he turned a wheel for Scunthorpe it was always known he had a meeting yesterday.

Ok boys and girls you can get back to your bïtching now, but maybe try to think a little before you all slag off on a rider

What was the main reason he could not have done both meetings.?

For me this should be a resignation offence for Godfrey, he has clearly lied to his clubs loyal supporters there's no way this man should be in charge of British Speedway.

I will not be attending Scunthorpe Speedway again while this man is in charge of the sport.

He's mugged off his own clubs supporters, he's mugged off Leicester fans and he's put the British Champion in an untenable position.

So what's situation for Tuesday? Is he eligible as the meeting never started. Or is he eligible because he wasn't ill. Or is he ineligible for 8 days with non speedway related illness. And I agree with iainb if Godfrey has lied about his situation in order to gain a facility his position is completely untenable and should be removed immediately

Conspiracy theories aside, what are the lineups for tomorrow's meeting?

There's no conspiracy theory though is there, somebody is telling lies and there should be an inquiry as it calls the validity of whole competition into doubt.

As for lineups, well, some fans somewhere are going to be mugged off again. Either Lions & Scorpions fans with the non appearance of Ellis and/or the Thompson twins. Or the Kings & Cubs fans with the non appearance of the Thompson twins.

No Conspiracy theory, the facts are the Rob Godfrey allegedly said Adam Ellis was ill, when in fact according to the riders dad he knew all along that Adam Ellis was unavailable for this meeting due to other commitments, that in itself is bad enough but to have have come from the BSPL Chairman makes it even worse. Now the Teams for tomorrow ?.

Exactly what i was about to post- 1 was Saturday 1 Sunday. Ellis has ridden different countries on successive days many times in his career. GB and Sweden GB and Poland etc etc

No flights available, had to fly out Friday I suspect

Not the first time either, you've only got to look at his involvement in "Holdergate" at Peterborough. "Drunk on Power" is the immediate phrase that springs to mind
