Really?????

After a challenging 48 hours of weather. At 6:30 the promotion had the track in a condition that Tom Brennan confirms all were happy to ride.

The referee then, against the wishes of the promotion, instructed, unnecessary, unwarranted, ill judged remedial works that rendered the track, arguably unsafe. He then took the decision not to allow Richie to test the track and called off the meeting.

The Call Off was entirely caused by the Referee.

Mark has every right to be angry. He should be reimbursed for all losses incurred, and the league cut-off date should be extended to include the running of this meeting.

Seems a bit far fetched,if it was McGregor that was the ref though it is possible.

Curiously the Glasgow powers that be have still to acknowledge next weeks  Plymouth v Glasgow fixture on any of their social media platforms.

Not so curiously, Plymouth have been instructed by BSPL to host Poole on Tuesday 6th September in the first leg Q/F, with the remaining fixture v Glasgow to be rearranged later.

(See Plymouth website)

Play-offs take precedence.

So Plymouth been strongarmed into holding a meeting by the bspl of whom their opponents promoter is on the board

Promoted to the Board in his virgin season via a call from the Chateau.

We await the hereditary promotions of the young Masters  Godfrey, Louis and Bates clans in due course.

Plymouth shouldn't have needed the BSPL to point out why that is the right thing to do....

So it's acceptable for Scunthorpe to delay the KOC by THREE months, but not acceptable for Plymouth to delay the play-offs by SEVEN days?

Poole's visit to Plymouth, originally arranged for Tuesday 6th September has been postponed, due to weather conditions.

With rain and a bad forecast prevailing the meeting has been called-off and rescheduled to next Tuesday, 13th September.

Poole are still due to host the Gladiators on Wednesday (7th) night, in what will now be the first leg of the Quarter Final play-off.
