I've relatives on my wife's side from Devon so usually make a few visits.

To be honest haven't really enjoyed experience at PB since Stadium changed to AR group.

Both the Masons and new lot have tried but it's like being at an Away track, no warmth from non speedway staff. Quite the opposite on occasions.

Is that generally or just towards you?

so what time are Plymouth going to announce the signings of Lahti, Klindt and Rasmus ...

just need to know so that the good residents of Dorset and Hampshire can be alerted to a major Sewage / Effluent incident near Poole...

Depends if they made last night's midnight deadline??

If there is any semblance of truth at all in Lahti and Klindt signing then I hope Plymouth finish 6th with all those Poole assets in their 1-7. Aside from their availability on 6th/7th September.

I think there have been many Brummies fans who have experienced the jobsworth attitude of stadium staff and their lack of customer service skills and training. Confiscating water in bottles and personal containers on entry perhaps the most glaring example.

Plymouth will not be riding on those dates.

What about if they get released with them having no official meetings left

It's a good question this, I've often wondered when a club has no official meetings left why they can't then be deemed 'free agents' and redeclared in a playoff team. Seems crazy that riders are ruled out due to their averages. I mean Plymouth have the option of several guests to fill the various vacant positions but a rider like Harris for example can't be used due to his high average, however if we re-jigged he could fit in. Not that I'm saying I want Harris (not at home anyway).

And there I was thinking that Sept 6th you are home to Glasgow. Plus if you finish 6th in the league after tomorrow's fixture you'll be at Poole on 7th. Tsk tsk   Enjoy.

Are Poole desperate to ride at home v Redcar, Plymouth or Edinburgh on the 7th?

If so why?

What's the rush?

Can't they ride KOC or Jubilee Cup?

Is something happening on the 8th or after?

Surely arranging matches when you don't even know opponents is desperation?

Maybe someone could enlighten us?

I guess we don't want to be like last year with finals taking place in November.

Why not just get on with the meetings?

What's the point in delaying things for no real reason?

We know the weather is going to start getting wetter from now on.

It's one of the challenges for a club in the latter stages of all the competitions who still want to race on their usual racenight. Glasgow and Leicester don't want to come and we're still waiting on the KO Cup opponents, so....

Why should Plymouth anymore than Glasgow and Leicester?

Because it could make a mockery of things. Let’s say a rider is contracted to a team bottom of the league, he’s racing (in his last home match) against the team in 6th, team in 6th have been in touch saying we’ll sign you once you finish with them, the rider isn’t going to give his all against the 6th placed team knowing there is a minimum of 2 paydays still in it for him somewhere else

So because Poole announce they want to race on the 7th everyone has to fall in line because they say so if the bspa say you must race on that day fair enough not just because Poole say so. Bully boy tactics won’t work as the other teams may show. And another thread reads why does everyone hate Poole there’s one of your reasons telling others what they have to do.

We don't really want to be running the business end of the season in November now do we

Because the league play offs take precedence over the other competitions. Simples..

In any case it'll be difficult for Plymouth to lose tomorrow with the further injury to Redcars Charles Wright. So 6th place looks unlikely. Shame.

Maybe just maybe Redcar and Scunthorpe agreed in principle?
