The difference being people don't believe Kennett is still injured.

Ok well in that case Plymouth management needed to have given sufficient information about his injury situation as to make matters clear to the doubters - and I don't know if they have or not.

Usually transfer cut off end of August so wouldn't be surprised if they made a couple of changes lower end.

Of course date of Barkers hearing may influence if they try to do anything top end.

One obvious target is injured but I'm guessing they could have a foreigner without a visa for 28 days. Risky if rain offs during play offs.

Easy to forget that b4 MPT injury and Barker issue they were probably the side everyone wanted to avoid over 2 legs.

Leicester and Poole would have lost on aggregate in regular season.

Is that STILL happening?? When are they gonna make a decision either way... If the man is innocent he better be getting some serious compensation

Barker's hearing is in September though and if cut off is end of August, then Plymouth are going to have to decide whether to replace him before his hearing.

How do you get to use a rider without a visa?

(Legally I mean)

Like Berwick have with their new Danish kid.

A new loophole allows you to apply for a Visa but use a 28 day period after the application is made. In their case the guy had to sit on the fence after the 28 days waiting for the final approval.

Did Berwick not use Glasgow to support a working 28 day visa?

Don't think he raced without a visa as if he got caught he would be banned from the country for a couple of years at least.

I think that's the correct terminology actually, you can get a 28 day visa pending a full application and that's the option Berwick legitimately used but delayed paperwork then meant  he had to twiddle his thumbs after the 28 days pending paperwork being sorted.

I was trying to explain that IF a play off Club got the timing right they may be able to exploit the legal opportunity to get a guy in for 4 weeks on such a loophole.

Gutted that it looks like Alfie’s season is over. Good guy and a very good rider. He’ll be back in 2023 I’m sure. Shame for McGurk but it just wasn’t working out for him and can’t have been enjoyable.

The signing of Complin is genius. Rides for Armadale in the NDL, obviously Edinburgh will be the playoff opponents and he scored well down here for Birmingham earlier in the month

And if Plymouth get through to SF and go to Leicester, Coles rides for their NL team.

Exactly right. I think both Mark and Garry have looked at the bigger picture with these two signings and it might work out well for them. Such a shame for Alfie.
