So because Poole announce they want to race on the 7th everyone has to fall in line because they say so if the bspa say you must race on that day fair enough not just because Poole say so. Bully boy tactics won’t work as the other teams may show. And another thread reads why does everyone hate Poole there’s one of your reasons telling others what they have to do.

So Poole to race on their regular Wednesday racenight against either Redcar or Scunny is fine with them. It's just Plymouth using bully boy tactics to object.....?

Maybe the other 3 teams that are possibly at Poole have agreed to that date? Ever thought of that?

Because it could make a mockery of things. Let’s say a rider is contracted to a team bottom of the league, he’s racing (in his last home match) against the team in 6th, team in 6th have been in touch saying we’ll sign you once you finish with them, the rider isn’t going to give his all against the 6th placed team knowing there is a minimum of 2 paydays still in it for him somewhere else

That can’t happen, riders remain contracted until 31st October. The rider could guest in the play-offs though

Yes I know but someone was asking why it can’t happen

The ‘donor team’ would need to sign a replacement rider for their 1-7, despite having no meetings left and it’s difficult to see that happening.

The transfer deadline has now passed.

The BSPL would not, in my opinion, agree such a re-declaration as being in the best interests of the sport.

Bold to assume the BSPL know what is "in the best interests of the sport". If they do then they don't often show it.

When was the deadline? Must be much later than usual, or does it seem later because the season is shorter?

And in this instance would be absolutely correct not to.

Looks like Poole has jumped the gun again and this poster I trust more than anyone, if anyone knows the ins and out of Plymouth speedway it’s this man you can trust me on that.sneeky Poole trying the strong arm tactics again I’m glad someone is standing up  to them.

Garry May is at Poole every week. He knows the situation but has to save a bit of face.

Would have still been on the 7th if it had been Redcar, Plymouth or Scunthorpe, was announced before last night's result
