Lyon said they had withdrawn him as he bashed his head on the temple. If it was just a cut Andersen would be riding.

And he also said a hand injury

Panthers will surely get a 2nd onion on Hans' injury.

You can't trust a Belle Vue track doctor. Another specialist needs to look at Hans' head.

Is that some olde worlde remedy?

Like a poultice?

Hope it works... :D

There were only a handful of top races at Wembley that night but that’s all people remember

True, watched it on DVD s couple of times and didn't think the racing was as good as I remembered.

What a track, what a meeting, what fantastic racing.

Was umming and ahhing about going Thursday but definitely am, think it's very much in the balance as BV have hit 50 on both their visits to P'boro although they look a little vulnerable at reserve.

Can't wait.

If only Lynn track produce racing like that of course it used to in the past when they used red shale rather than clay soil - we also are thinking of going as well on Thursday the tie still very much in the balance I feel .

What a fantastic meeting! Wembley 81 was a stunning atmosphere, with massive stakes and two fantastic races. A truly memorable occasion.

Tonight had many more great races, on a hugely better race track. Thank you to both teams for a brilliant evening of entertainment. THIS is why we love speedway.

Not relevant, this is a play off final all previous results can be ignored. Lemon looked down, he knows to let the Panthers get to only two points down when they were 10 in front is not what was needed.

Well irr seemed to work for them, Lyon is good but it's the rider's who raised their level when needed.

Paid 6 from 3 rides,maybe worked,maybe not.Probably about par imo.
