Glasgow V Edinburgh KO Cup 10 October

Recommended Posts

There's a delay after Broc Nicol and Drew Kemp tangled in heat 8. Drew went wide into 3, they met through 4 as Broc came underneath. All a bit of a blur as to how they ended up together. I think Drew might have locked up a bit, and it was a reasonably aggressive move.

Broc excluded. Ambulance on track but Broc is awake and talking.

Taking an early interval now but we only have one ambulance...

Hope Broc is okay. Kemp did nothing wrong. Correct decision by referee.

Racing incident IMO, Nicol did nothing wrong either. Kemp cut under Bailey just as Nicol was coming round inside, neither could have anticipated what the other would do, if they even saw each other. With the track being extremely slick to cope with rain you had to be aggressive to get anywhere, unfortunately another downside of October speedway.

Mixed emotions..great win and more than acceptable lead, but felt they were there for bit of a doing tonight.

Special mention to Tom Brennan best meeting by a million miles at ashfield

Should have been more, Sam seems to lose the plot if he has a poor first ride even if there is no pressure. Pickering must have been the only person in the stadium not to see the post ht13 track grade, watching him rip the throttle off Worrall's bike in ht14 thundering into corners trying to ride the boards and going backwards was a joy to watch. On another day he would have got double figures riding the only way it seems he can but the sign of any decent rider is being able to read the track and adapting to it. Thomson on the other hand had a very impressive show and must be nailed on for a return on 5.51. Sixteen points makes it comfortable although you never say never with the 0131.

Yeah feel we could've got close to 60. Thomson was excellent, looks a real find. Pickering is entertaining but can only ride one line from watching that tonight.
