SoN 2021 who are your picks for team GB?

Recommended Posts

No Brainer for me, Robert Lambert has finished 10th in the world, Top 8 in polish averages & in form, Oh and he won the British Championship at B/V in 2018 his only recent appearance and he rides B/V well

Surprised at Lambert getting the nod over Bewley.

In fact I'm  'Bew'ildered!

It cud only av been Lambert's performances at Torun SGP x2, his home track, which swung it his way I guess?

But in the SON there shouldn't be an Under 21 compulsory pick. In the SWC yes because there are 5 riders instead of 3.

That's a point, who as been picked as the Under 21?

I expect they've gone with experience, Lambert has now ridden in several GP's, SWC's and SoN's. Would have fully understood if they'd picked Bewley but can equally appreciate why its Robert, there's not a lot between them all things considered.

True, plus Lambert as won the SEC. Lambert/Bewley is a difficult one but I would've thought Bewley & Woffinden riding together at Wroclaw & Bewley"s NSS form would've swung it his way.

Can you tell I'm a Bewley fan! :D

But I'm backing the Brits all the way, Woffinden & Lambert will kick ass! Who is the under 21?

Sad affair neither of them ride in there own country still i suppose it's not   there fault just the mess British speedway is in

It is disappointing that neither Robert or Tai ride ere but it's no different to why the other top riders don't ride here. I agree with ur reasoning.

If and when Swindon come back I wonder if Doyle will still show his loyalty to Swindon & British speedway & return.

But once again u can't blame him if he didn't.

Drew Kemp has beaten Tom Brennan more times around the NSS this season so if the pick is based on performance then shouldn’t Drew get the nod?  Drew also has the scalp of the much revered Dan Bewley.  My only concern with Lambert is that he seems susceptible to tape infringements when the pressure is on so I question if he has the temperament for the big occasion?
