Hello

Can anybody tell me what the average are for the Rising Star riders, in both leagues? Can't seem to find them anywhere, just '2nd in team/5th in team' etc... Are they top secret?

Cheers

Obviously a secret. Someone now getting knuckles rapped of saying what place they are in team. Too much information.

The team position has to be known to allow the correct team line-up and facilities to be determined. Why the actual average is concealed is more difficult to understand as it’s easy to calculate.

Is the main reason for not showing average because any rising star moving into top5 can only be replaced by a rising star or r/r if not available or injured. It’s all a bit of a farce as usual.

That's an interesting site but needs to be read with caution.

Taking Leon Flint as an example the site appears to show him as No 1 in Berwick averages, when according to the official BSPL GSAs he's second in the team averages.

Funnily enough, I am just looking at this exact same situation right now - very strange indeed!

Speedway Star averages have Leon as our Number 1

Speedway Star averages are 2021 average only & include bonus points. It is also League & KOC points whereas CMA's are League only

Only concealed to supporters, I am now aware Mountain has a GSA of 3.00 in the Kings Lynn team.

Quite why Rising Star GSA are concealed is beyond me, it seems to be one of the standard BSPL directives, let’s keep supporters in the dark.

As a theory maybe they are trying to hide the averages as hope to keep riders as rising stars for more than one season and if we knew flint and Palin's true averages we'd be apoplectic with rage if took up 3/4 points in team building for next season?

The minute Josh Bates was one of the Rising Stars it was a farce.
