Think the promotion were being optimistic about the meeting definitely being on this evening. Don't remember the track at Owlerton being able to take a lot of rain before it starts puddling! Called off after 10 Heats and it's only going to start because the camera's are in town with limited re-staging dates that would work for both parties. (Teams and Eurosport) Been raining all day so surely the track is going to be gate and go with visibility issues and lots of re-runs. Yes thats true but if its on and the weather dictates its a farce and is only on because of the TV and riders are poodling round unable to race then that twenty quid enterence could have been saved and for those choosing to watch on TV they could feel that was the wiser option than to risk travelling.
