MPT giving it a go & r/r for Ullle is a big, big gamble.

if MPT has a fall and bangs his hand they’ll get no injury r/r  they have to get a guest for oystercard can risk MPT with his injury and r/r  else they’ll be out Pedersen won’t score the points at reserve likes other team members have in the past at home I just can’t see rob Lyon taking that much of a gamble

MPT wont be anywhere near fit enough to ride as it takes 2-8 weeks minimum to recover from the injury.

Have to get Cook in and cross our fingers that he's in the right frame of mind on the day otherwise it's curtains.

MPT can't cross his fingers.....;)

Surely the weather will win this one thus giving us more time for MPT to mend ! The rain might actually do us a favour this time

Forecasts for Monday:

Met Office: - mainly dry

BBC - mainly dry

Accuweather - mainly dry

Weather.com - mainly dry

....  my you are a pessimist

If he falls he will have to grin and bear it and say he's hurt his leg or something.

Lewis Kerr guesting if MPT isn't fit.

PETERBOROUGH: Michael Palm Toft (if fit), Ulrich Ostergaard R/R, Hans Andersen, Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris, Bjarne Pedersen, Jordan Palin. Standby guest: Lewis Kerr.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Broc Nicol, Leon Flint.

Wolves are definitely favourites now.

Panthers are without their top 2 now.

Still means Harris , Andersen, Nicholls, Pedersen or Kerr could take r/r, still looks like a comfortable(ish) home win to me, I think better to go with Kerr than MPT unless he really thinks he can hang on to the bike, how many times have you seen a rider with that type of break/injury do one race and withdraw from the meeting.

why are we having kerr as a guest after all the hard work getting to the playoffs why are we suddenly giving it away. had to be cook the only reasonable choice

Probably isn't up for it up mentally.

May as well just let MPT ride and if it backfires on the team then so be it because Kerr isn't going to trouble anyone with all due respect.

I imagine they're pretty sure MPT isn't going to be fit enough, even if Kerr gets a few points at worst r/r with the regulars should see you through. If he happens to have a better than expected meeting and gets 7/8 definitely through,  but MPT doing one ride and withdrawing definitely puts pressure from race one.
