I think you are right in saying the speedway hasn't used the football first aid room for a rider (was once used for a spectator I think a few seasons ago).

I have quoted Ian Rae from facebook in the following post about your second point (if there is a county ambulance it is usually called for). The ambulance can leave the stadium if it has to but usually only as a last resort (used up at the training track in Duns sometimes).

Ian Rae
Berwick, for a number of years now have two Ambulance’s ( one is our own, the other from a private company )and two Paramedics at every meeting.

I think Ian will know better than yourself or me? It is in speedway friends on a post from Roger Hutchins if you would like to check. You will also see this confirmed by Dennis so I would think Dennis and Ian know what they are talking about.

If you say so , but  I(and many others)thought at the time of the purchase of a second Ambulance was too prevent unnecessary delays in waiting for the County Ambulance to attend. In all my time at Berwick there has always been delays when serious injury or rider having to go to hospital( same as other tracks)then more delays as the paperwork for the transfer had to be completed and transfer to County Ambulance, so what was the point of second ambulance.!!!

Why does the 2nd Ambulance not take the riders to hospital (which I thought was the original reason for purchase at the time to prevent long delays). Was there any point in having it.I will leave at that as we beg to differ on the matter.

There were people at Glasgow saying Brennan was at Manchester on Friday whether it was practice or something else who knows. We will soon find out though.

Given it is effectively the "World Cup Of Speedway" you would imagine the teams would want to spend time together the day before it, (at least), wouldnt you..?

And given it will be the biggest meeting of his career you would also think riding elsewhere the night before could be a bit distracting, not to mention problematic for the team (and the actual event), should he get injured...

Winners against Glasgow in semi-final as Poole have chosen the winners of Leicester/Scunthorpe https://www.poole-speedway.com/news/view/2021-10-10-pirates-prepare-for-the-unkown

Would like to see the first leg of play offs at Armadale on Friday. Earlier on Birmingham ditched our cup match for league match against Leicester so can that be seen as stating league comes first. Perhaps irrelevant if Glasgow wish first leg at home.

See Snapper's post detailing the Son FIM Timetable, there is nothing happening on the Friday. So who were the 'people' , worried fans who heard something from someone who heard something from someone else? Or was it from the Tigers management/owners? If the latter I would worry if the former, it is just terracing gossip. And at this stage we don't even know if Tom will be in the team, albeit he is the obvious choice.

Really. Most sportsmen want to play/compete not sit around playing cards or whatever. They certainly don't want to be sitting worrying about a forthcoming fixture or worrying about getting injured. The best thing for Tom, if selected for GB, would be to go out and score well at Edinburgh on the Friday and go into the SoN full of confidence.

Will Glasgow be at Armadale on Friday?  Nothing from either club yet to say that they will.

Given there is no reason for him to be there as no travelling involved and no practice etc I'd assume he'll have to be at Edinburgh
